Need help on how to install a sub to car stereo?
I am in the process of ordering a JL 13w7 and I already own a JL 1000/1 amp. What would be the best way to hook up the am to the built in car stereo? The car is a 2004 bmw 525i with the premium sound, logic 7. Its loud but the bass just isn't anything too ridiculous. What would be the best sq what to hook the 1000/1 amp up to the built in sub lines,(it has two subs, one under each of the front seats.) Are speakerwire to RCA wires effective on a clean signal? Or would there be another way to hook it up?

Unless your stock stereo has RCA outputs (I almost guarentee it doesn't) then you will need a Line Out Conveter. That is the thing that you were talking about that takes speaker wires and turn it into an RCA output.
The singal on a LOC is not going to be the best but without a RCA ouput that is going to be your best option with a stock deck. The only way you are going to do much better is if you upgrade your stock head unit.
