Gokart build with lawnmower engine?
I have found a lawnmower engine and just wondering if anyone knows how i can link it to a go Kart chasse, which i am going to make from steel (I think). just wondering also, is it possible to link it up to a BMX? Its aluminium and i'm not sure if its good for welding on or not.
for a kart, you need to fabricate an engine mount that lines the sprockets up and squarely. and you also need a centrifugal clutch

to weld alloy sucessfully you need to correctly id the alloy (what alloy is it exactly) and use a tig welder. expensive to buy, and tricky to learn to use; but does a fantastic job
