Interior Lift What's the proper way to paint walls of a room?
I'm a new homeowner and I just tried to repaint one of the rooms. I used semi-gloss interior wall paint to paint walls and a chest along on of the walls. After the paint on the chest had dried I put newspaper on it and stood on it to paint around a window. When I lifted the newspapers, I noticed some of the ink had stuck to the white paint. What step did I miss?
Buy some painter's tape and tape all arount the woodwork this way the paint will not get on the trims. Wash the walls down with TSP to remove dirt grease etc... repair the all the holes that were left from pitures or dents in the wall sand it down wipe with a tack cloth ,prime the walls ,then apply a couple coats of paint , I use semi gloss in the bathroom and kitchen because it's easy to wipe down ,but for the rest of the house I use eggshell because it hides the imperfections of the walls . Never use wall paper!

How would one change some lights on a 2ed gen durango?
So, how can some one change the interior dome lights of a 2006 durango? Like if one wanted to put new colored bulbs in? dome lights such as on the lift gate, the second row seating and the above the dash board. also, how would one change the head lights on a 2006 durango as well?

for dome lights, it is in reference to like the interior of the car, how would one take off the housing or do what ever you have to do to put new bulbs in the dome lights.
For the dome lights, just remove the cover to the light. A small flat blade screw driver works well for this. Just don't break the tabs. Start in the middle of the longest side. This is where the cover is weakest and you can pry it to see the tabs. If it is a clear lens, you should be able to see the tabs through the lens on the edges. They will be small rectangles.
As far as the headlights, this is a bit trickier as some of the bolts are behind the bumper. If you have small hands and quite dexterous you may be able to wrench them out. Or a 1/4 inch ratchet with a shallow 10mm may squeeze between the bumper and headlamp. Then the upper ones and then a lot of prying to get it out. It's a tight fit and a stupid design.
