Inch Narrow Door
Trim my Reliabilt bi-fold doors?
The opening for my bi-fold doors is about 2 inces to narrow, so I need to know if it is possible to cut about a 1/2 inch of the side of each bifold without affecting the hollow core of the door. I know this possible if cutting the top or bottom but wasn't sure about the sides.
If you look on the bottom of the doors you should be able to see how thick the stiles are and if there is enough material there for you to remove 1/2 inch.

Need a couch to fit through our door!!!?
So we have a very narrow entrance to our new home, it has about 7 or 8 steps up (the side of the house on one side, a railing on the other) the entrance (a glass/screen door) is only about 30 inches wide, super narrow when looking for living room furniture. So we are forced to find either couches that require assembly--rare-- or love seats, which we would rather have a regular sofa.

It says assembly required so we hope that we would have better luck fitting the box opposed to a regular sofa, what do you think?
Do you have any advice as to where we could get us a sofa to fit through a screen door? Our limit is about 500, we don't want anything too fancy, just something for now until we move into a bigger place and get an actual living room set.
You simply stand the sofa on 1 end and turn it through the door, sliding it in as it is turned. Start with the top of the back or bottom of the front first.
Basically wrap it around the corner.
I moved furniture for years and never missed getting a sofa through any door any size.
