how do you use a ceiling host sling?
there are many slings, but i am struggling with the ceiling hoist sling that has the waist straps as well and rather than single leg straps, they wrap under both legs
find one with both single leg straps and a waist strap. best of both worlds.

what is the best way to use a sling with a hoist?
at work we are using a grey sling would you say it was better to put both straps under the leg crossing over or up through the middle off the legs and crossed over, and which way do you reckon would be more comfortable for a client... this has caused a debate at work, thanks in advance
Thats an impossible question to answer properly without knowing which hoist and sling you are using, and the level of the client's disability. I would say that in general the best method (based on experience with several different variables) would be to bring the straps up between the legs and cross them over.
However, the only really right answer would be "the way you have been trained to use it..."
