Will heavy duty sunscreen prevent aging in tanning beds?
I'm back at college & I'm pissed that I'm losing my tan !!
Normally, I wouldn't care ... but this year I have way too much free time to dwell on crap like this, PLUS, there's a tanning salon right down the block from my dorm.
It's very tempting.
I want 2 save my tan, but I'm paranoid about skin cancer & getting leathery by the time I'm 30.
Since your hands and eyes age you the most, should I slather SPF 50 on my hands & face, and just tan the rest of myself normally?
fake tans feel gross & smell horrible.
& i dont want to look like some orange, baked sorority whore.
Bronzer to even it out ..?

Personally, I'd stay away from the tanning beds because once you go a couple times, you'll find yourself needing to keep it up on a regular basis....that is unless you're willing to spend the money on it and take the long term risks of exposure.
Just use a good self tanning lotion and you'll keep your summer glow. That's what I do and I have a nice tan all year round. There are a lot of them that won't turn you yellow or orange. Try a couple for a week at a time to find one that you like.
