Why do the police use a squad team for aresting one person?
I see on TV when cops have a warent to arrest some one they get a squad team to arrest him.Com on you dont need an army to arrest you 3-5 ponough.plice offecirs with be enough.I also see them big and well built comming to arrest a skiny guy.Why all those big guys on this one skiny or small guy?Im just curious.Unless he is Shadam thats worth it unless he has a sniper and armed gang members with him but why do they get those big guys on one person who is averege or weak that unarmed and not dangerous?
Because a show of overwhelming force has a psychological effect of ending whatever fight response the bad guy might have had. That "Skinny guy" or any other person can do really amazing things when pumped up on adrenaline and can shoot a gun just like anyone else. And past history has shown that too many Officers have died arresting someone for the simplest things.
Which is better? showing up en masse and taking a person into custody without incident or injuries. Or having someone someone seriously injured or killed?
