What kind of car do you think is best to convert to hand controls?
I am handicap and need a car that I could possibly convert to hand controls, but I am not in a wheelchair so I dont need a van.I am looking at a 96 Beretta do you think that would be good? I need something cheap.

I like to park in the fire zone in front of a store at the mall instead of the handicap spot. Is that rude?
I have a friend who works for Papa Johns. He gave me one of those car tops and I have never had a problem parking in the fire zone. I try to keep my shopping less than two hours. I am in a wheelchair and it takes me awhile to get out of my van. If no one says anything about it then I don't think there is anything wrong. I do have a handicap license plate. Am I being rude?

Rude - yes. Illegal - definetly.
Even with a handicapped plate you could wind up getting a ticket or worse - your van being towed.
Just hope that there is never a fire in the shopping center. Most Fire departments will go "right through" an illegally parked vehicle if they have to.
