how to coast downhill with a centrifugal clutch with out giving it gas???
I have a scooter know idea what sized motor it has.. but any way it runs on a centrifugal clutch and i want to be able to save gas by drifting downhill with out going full throtle. Because as soon as you let off the gas it slows the scooter down...
I do not think you can. The wheels are direct driving the clutch to a speed higher than the clutch engagement speed and thus forcing the clutch shoes to engage. This is a convenience to enable you to idel without pushing in a clutch or shifting an expensive transmission into neutral. You'd need to buy a better scooter to do otherwise.
