Folding Leather Seat
Problem with leather seats in Scion tC? Help?
I have a scion tC with leather seats, And every time i fold the back seat down to maximize hatch space, the seat belt buckles, the seat itself, and anything else that is in the seat leave impressions in the leather that down go away.
im about to move home from college for the summer, and i know i will need to fold down the back seat to stuff all of my crap into it.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem? What can i do so the seat wont leave impressions in the leather? Ive thought about putting a blanket inbetween it, but ive left a sunshade inbetween the seat before and it made an impression as well.
And if theres no way to prevent it, is there any way to get the impressions out? Thanks
Toyota uses a very soft leather for these cars meaning its not a cheap quality and I have seen some people put cardboard down to try and help stop this and sometimes it helps.
I have called the Toyota Customer Service Department for some of my customers and was told that this is normal and to always use the Toyota leather conditioner which the do already and still they have those indention's.
The only thing that you can try is what I have done in the past and that is to work the leather conditioner into the seats and hope that it works.

2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited Question Thanks ?
On my Toyota Sequoia Limited do you think I can fit a new leather love seat in the back trunk with out folding the seat, or should I fold the Seats? thanks!
Interesting question. I had to remove the bed then the rear window which broke the regulator then I had to have the camera's realigned. Not worth the trouble and it voided my warranty on the parts.
