Help raise money for SMA?

Not many people have heard of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). SMA is the number 1 genetic killer in babies under 2 years old. 1 in 6000 children are affected by SMA and 1 in 40 people carry the gene that causes SMA. SMA causes the muscles to waste away(atrophy). The muscles closest to the trunk of the body are worst affected as well as the muscles needed for breathing and swallowing. There are 3 main types of SMA, each one affects the person differently, type 1 being the most severe and type 3 the least. I have type 2, i have been in a electric wheelchair since i was 3 years old and need assistance with everyday activities due to my muscle weakness. The Jennifer trust are trying to raise money to help fund research into finding a cure. If we all spread the word we can help! You can buy christmas cards online and other items at:
