Electric Mobility Scooter
Mobility scooter won't charge, what could be wrong? Need new batteries?
Hello,
I've just tried to charge up an electric mobility scooter which hasn't been charged or used for some time - about 6 months to a year. When I plug the charger in to charge the scooter the charger light saying "mains on" comes on (the red one) but the "charging" (yellow) or the "charge complete" (green) ones don't come on as should when charging or charged.
The scooter has no charge and so won't work.
What could this be? Need new batteries, do they have special ones?
Or could it be a faulty connection ?
How do I check for these faults?

Take the battery to an auto shop to be tested...you may need battery...but have them tested first...
