Should I keep my 06 Tacoma or trade it in?
Ok so i currently have an 06 four door tacoma with low miles. its a 4x4 which i need. but it has a short bed and it is black. i dont like the black so much anymore because it shows every scratch, nick, and speck of dirt. the truck accomodates my needs 99% of the time, but its the 1% of my time that i wish i had a bigger truck with a bigger bed. i have it paid down to 17k and am in the price range of 25k or less.
ive been contemplating trading it in for either a diesel such as a ram 2500 or f-250 super duty. or a ford f-150. im kind of stuck on this. is the toyota quality still better than the ford and dodge quality? ill be keeping the trade in at about a 2007 or newer. i really do not need a diesel, but i like the better fuel efficiency and the extra power if needed. i like the size of the f-150's as well.
so, all in all. should i keep the toyota or trade it in for something i may not need right now all the time, but sure wouldnt hurt to have the extra space and all that?
Although Toyota's have been known for there legendary quality and reliability. Toyota's Trucks aren't the best qiality. If you really can afford it, I would recommend the F-150. Ford and Dodge are real american automakers who know how to build trucks. I am a Toyota Fan but the japenese's trucks just aren't up to american truck standards. Fords have been very reliable lately so I wouldn't hesitate in getting the F-150. So I think you should trade-in your Tacoma for a F-150.
