Call of Duty World At War Long Range Weapon Choice?
I know this is an opinionated question, but what would you guys suggest for a long range weapon choice in WaW? I use a STG44 with Aparture Sight for most maps, but on some larger maps I feel like I should be switching it up. Any suggestions would be cool. I am willing to consider switching to Bolt-Actions, but I do have all the Rifles (not bolt-action) leveled up to sniper scopes. Thanks in advance! 
It depends on a lot of factors. I like to use the m1a1 and gewher because I have a really fast trigger finger, and since so many fps games these days have single shot guns like that, using them is a great way to get ready for future games. The best rifles imo are in this order: stg44, m1a1, gewher.
I also enjoy using bolt action rifles, and they can be very strong if you get good with them. For bolt action rifles I recommend the mosin nagant. It has the highest chance to 1 shot, but it has a pretty small iron sight. It takes a lot of getting used to. The kar98k is the easiest bolt action rifle to use imo so if you aren't good with bolts yet I would start off with the kar. Btw I don't use scopes. I believe with scopes the PTRS and springfield are best though.

My class in cod4 (on ps3) is
RPD with grip
Shotgun with grip
Overkill

A bit unconventional, but it works. Close range, the shotgun is one shot, one kill. For medium to long range I hve the RPD. Its got good damage, fire rate, and a huge clip. Its only downside is that it takes forever to reload.
What do you think of it?
I Play on the 360, I did not like the RPD. As well as my classes i went with the SAW red dot and the M14 W/ scope, overkill of course. Martydom is cool, when the enemy kills you. ha. That's cool, i also use the P90 W/ the scope and the berret 50 cal. Whatever works best for you.
