Drive Medical Geo
I am a 33 YO M and drive '91 Geo.Will I be judged badly for driving this car?
I have driven a Geo Metro through high school, college, med school, and now I want to continue driving it as a resident. I will only be around other medical residents and other doctors. Will they judge me harshly for driving this car? It is mechanically sound, but has mild dents on doors and small rust dots (I drove the car in MN, OH for 6 yrs). I hate the image game that most people get sucked into, so I would like to keep this great little car because it works, its cheap to maintain, efficient, and I won't have to shell out $15K on a new car to impress people I may never care about. What are your thoughts? Would you run the other way if your doctor drove my car or would you focus on how well he does his job?
It shouldn't matter what other people think, it should matter what you think and if you are happy then forget about the other people.
