How can I loose weight as a disabled, wheelchair user.?

I am female, late fifties, eat very little. Due to MS I am unable to walk, just sit in a chair or wheelchair. I drink several cups of tea a day with a little sugar and milk. My meals are very small, like a child's meal. I am not on a lot of medication. I take more food supplements and I drink a lot of water several times a day.
I am happy and not depressed at all. I am tired and can fall a sleelp during the daytime. In general I sleep well durign the night. What else can I do?

As a female with a disability, I understand the challenges and obstacles of an individualized exercise routine to promote one’s own health and well-being.

There are many available options to help you to lose weight as a wheelchair user.

One such option is wheelchair yoga. This form of yoga is specialized for individuals in wheelchairs. Not only is the exercise beneficial for losing weight, but it also improves moods and encourages relaxation. You can read more about wheelchair yoga for individuals with MS here: http://www.msassociation.org/publications/winter08/health.asp

A green tea diet may also prove beneficial because not only does it help to lose weight but it is also loaded with antioxidants that help to support your body’s immune system. You can read more about a green tea diet here: http://www.womans-health.net/greentea/articles/Green-Tea-The-Secret-To-Good-Health.php

You may also want to consider taking some of the vitamins for women found here: http://www.womans-health.net/vitamin-woman-should-take.htm

Best of luck!

can a stroke cause this?

yesterday i spent Thanksgiving Day with my babys fathers family. His mother recently had a stroke two months ago and a week later she had to get her leg amputated. When he helpted her into her wheelchair I noticed that the back of her pants were wet. Then I looked at the chair and it was wet too. Nobody seemed to notice it, if they did notice it they didn't say anything. I noticed that she drunk a lot of lemonade she had like five cups. She's also a diabetic and has to take insulin. She can hold full conversations. But sometimes she doesn't remember certain things. I think she may have used the bathroom in her clothing unconsciously. I remember about two weeks ago I took her food and she was putting a can soda down, I heard to spill and when I looked on the floor there it was. But she said she didn't waste it, it was just the way she put it down. But she did, and she didn't realize that. Can a stroke cause her to do things and not realize she has done it?

im not too sure about the stoke part but my daughter is a diabetic, insulin dependant. i kno that if she is unwell, her sugars get too high which makes her need the toilet more often.and if she is unable to make it on time, she will wet herself. but she is 11 and generaly quite good on her fet. i wld imagine having a stroke wld cause alsorts of memory and physical disabilitys ie..not knowing she has to go, not knowing wer she puts things, not remembering things.
