how to make the front walkway flush with front door?
brother is in wheelchair and would like to have an even egress at the front door so that we can eliminate ramp. have seen many houses with this type of entrance
I want to use cement and would I have to add dirt. it's 17 inches from the doorway to the ground.
you could always go to home depot and ask for a ramp or hire a contractor to remove the walkway and install a new one that is flush with the door. if you need one call (951)8184572

Question about malls...?
When i was little, i remember going into those big doors at the mall, you know, the entrance. then i remember thinking: if i go up the escalators, there are doors that lead to the outside too. how could this be? there aren't two levels of parking lots outside (it wasn't like a parking ramp or anything) but how could there be two stories with exits with regular parking lots? Anybody else besides me and my sister who thought this?
The mall could have been created sorta like my house.
If you look at it from one side it looks 2 stories but if you look at it from a different angle its one story.
The mall could have been built on a hill or some sort.
