Disabled Lift

dream about a disabled baby, being in a lift and seeing shooting stars?
I dreamt that I was looking after a baby that was disabled in some way that he/she couldnt move or speak (well make any communication).. but I made her smile and laugh and it just gave me such an amazing feeling.
Then i dreamt of being with this old woman in a lift and I think I was staying with her- I dont have a clue who she was though.. and before when I was with this baby, I dreamt we were using the lift lol.
Thennn I dreamt of seeing a shooting star, and I was amazed because there were quite a few of them and Id never seen one before.
So Im dreaming about looking after a disabled baby, being in a lift twice.. first with this baby and then second with this old woman.. then I dream of seeing shooting stars.
I think that the message is that there are a lot of things in the world, and this is just one that you would want to take care off. No matter what it is, young of old, you would want to take care of them. The young could represent there`s a lot of innocence in the world, and with the violents, representing the disability, you`re feeling that you want to do something to fix this. The disability could mean that people have made a lot of mistakes, and you would want to change the world by fixing and leading the next generation. The old woman could represent the experience that you have face and later on the future. It could also mean that they seen everything in the world, and you want to send the messages to the world. With the shooting star, this could possibly mean that there`s still hope in the world. With all the corruption, global warming, and much more, you know that it could still be changed. No matter what it is, there is still hope in the world.
Another theory of mine for your dream is that life is short, you it seems that you would want to get and see every beauty thing in the world right now, (like for example, in your dream the shooting star), before it`s too late and gone by the destruction of the human race.
Hope this helps with your answers!!!

Does a Disabled Child = a Disabled Family? $23.45 Many people attempt to address issues concerning developmentally disabled children and their families from a purely academic viewpoint. Others have very personal experiences with little or no professional or academic background. Both can be beneficial and provide helpful information, but they both also have potential pitfalls and limitations. The purpose here is to use personal experience along with professional and academic information to help professionals, parents, and siblings in their adjustment to their new journey. The goal is to assist families in ways of achieving balance between taking care of the needs of parents to continue to develop themselves, their relationships, their nondisabled children, and the disabled family member. The ideas presented here are not intended to address specific disabilities. They are to provide perspective and some general helpful ideas that can be implemented regardless of the disability of the child. The Chronically Disabled Elderly in Society $129.05 In this period of upheaval of our nations health care system, this timely work serves to increase awareness of and knowledge about the problems of societal living among the chronically disabled elderly. To meet the goal of optimal social functioning of the chronically disabled, past and present attitudes and practices of education, health care, and social service providers need to be examined and in many cases changed or discarded. Focusing on macro and micro contextsand using examples to highlight actual experiences and processesthe need for a comprehensive approach to chronic disabling conditions is illustrated. This work has important implications for institutions of education in health and social sciences, policy makers in health care and social services, advocacy groups for the elderly and disabled, and individuals and families facing the care of the chronically disabled. Does anyone know how I can get a free mattress? I'm disabled, in pain, desperate?
I know this might be stupid, but I'm disabled, permanently, from lifting patients, collapsed 2 disks, had surgery, didn't work, now my mattress has sink holes, I put 2 egg crate foams to pad it, it still causes me severe pain to sleep in it. I can't afford a pillowtop mattress, heck, I'm 40 & never owned any new furniture, all hammydowns, which i was glad to get. but this, I can't sleep in any more. since I'm now on social security, a whole $700 a month, I can't save a nickel. Does anyone know of a program or charity that would help me? I've never asked for anything, but I'm desperate now, any advice would be helpful
You can try freecycle. It's a yahoo group that tries to keep things out of the landfill and ends up serving more than that purpose. People end up de-cluttering their homes and garages and post things that they are giving away for free on this group and then people can request that item. The same goes for someone looking for a particular item. Each chapter has it's owns rules but the general purpose of this group is to give and receive items rather than throw them away. I have seen people give away mattresses, cars, clothes, furniture, paint.......etc, etc. Go to yahoo groups and look up freecycle, then find one that is in a city nearest you and join. Feel free to e-mail if you have any questions! I don't know if they will have one in your area, but it's worth a try. Another option is craigslist. It's a website where you can post items for free, to barter, to sell......etc etc. Good luck!
