Where on the web can I learn about the disabled braving the outdoors?
I'm writing an article and need some background information. I've already heard about the Special Olympics. I'd like to know more about the disabled who climb mountains, hike, sail, and get involved in other aspects of the great outdoors. Are there any web sites devoted to their stories?

does anyone know if medicare for ramps for our home?
my husband has had 6 back surgeries and wears a brace on one of his legs. it's hard for him to climb stairs. he's totally disabled. has to go to the pain clinic once or twice a week. he goes on monday for shots in his back for pain. he's went through therapy and now he has numbness in his buttocks. may have to have another surgery
as far as I know medicare will not pay for home modification, how ever your city or county my offer grants for home modification of this sort.
