How to replicate Cobalt Blue Mirror for a Sparton/Nocturne Radio?
I wanted to make a cheap knock off of the Sparton Radio or Nocturne Console, but still have it look classy and somewhat realistic. By doing this I was going to take the radio guts from a radio in that time period and put on this glass with some chrome and a black chassis. Here are two examples:

Any idea on how to make the Cobalt Blue Mirror type finish for it? Or even where to find it for a decent price?

Luke Not sure how you would do it yourself as you see here it (cobalt blue) is added in the melting process. Any Vintage Radio Guys out there?
I have bought a vintage 1942 Zenith Radio Phonograph at an auction and need some info on it. Model #6R684 and Chassis number 6B06. I can't find much info on the web. I would like to know what type of wood was used for the console and any other info you could share. Thanks!
