LX3, bigger sensor 1/1.63" and much brighter Lens F2 to F2.8 (good in low light), wide angle lens (24mm) better pixel density (lower noise at higher ISO)
Only niggle is that its zoom is only 2x (60mm), but Image quality is superb. and pocketable
