Climb Stair

Can my dog climb stair while on heartworm treatment?
I just adopted a dog from the pound, and when I went to get his shots and neuter he was diagnosed with heartworms. Well the vet gave him the treatment and now I have to keep him calm for 8 weeks. This really isn't a problem as he isn't very active inside and I will take him out on a leash so he can't run and frolic. The problem is I spend most of my time upstairs and he prefers to be where I am. So is it ok for him to climb the stairs? He goes out 3 or 4 times a day so he has to climb back down them and then back up every time he goes out. I just don't know. I don't think it would be so bad if he walked up them, but he sort of hurtles up them. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
It is ok for him to take the stairs slowly but he needs tobe leashed or crated always. That means attached to you with the leash in the house and out. He does not go out alone or off leash. He doesn't wander the house alone. He doesn't run up and down the steps and you minimize the number of times he uses those steps.

The Endless Stair $87.62 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Endless Stair is a 1987 adventure module for the Dungeons Dragons roleplaying game. Its associated code is CM8. In The Endless Stair, a mysterious doorway opens in the rocks atop Glazars Crag, and the player characters go to see what is on the other side. The Great Mage Cheiromar is said to be buried under the Leaning Stone atop Galzars Crag. One of his apprentices, Ulthorn, has been discovered dead in an aperture of the Leaning Stone, a doorway that has reportedly never existed before. The player characters must discover how Ulthorn died and the mystery of the Leaning Stone. In the process, they may find the Endless Stair, which seems to lead to nowhere, although those who have tried to climb it never lived to tell of it. WESCO LiftKar Stair-Climbing Hand Trucks $5420 WESCO LiftKar Stair-Climbing Hand Trucks feature an innovative edge-of-stair sensor that automatically applies the brake when wheels are at the edge of the step. Edge-of-stair sensor helps prevent hand truck from rolling down the steps accidentally. Two operating modes: single step in which the ascend or descend button must be pressed after each step (ideal for maximum control) or continuous climb. Also includes: dual speed control and quick-change battery and charger. Foam-filled puncture proof tires work well on smooth or rough surfaces. Choose either the universal straight frame hand truck or folding model with adjustable upper handle angle that allows users to stand upright when using the truck at a very low angle. Options include: fold-out rear wheel carriage that offers extra 4-wheel support and the snap-on toe plate with dual-wheel casters that eases turning in confined spaces without tilting the truck. Fold-out rear wheel carriage fits universal straight frame truck only. NOTE: Folding frame LiftKar Hand Truck shown. |

Running Raw: Sears Tower Stair Climb 11/11/07
What's the best way to train for a stair climb?
I will be climbing the CN tower in Toronto in 4 weeks- the tallest free standing structure in the world! There is 1776 steps or 144 flights. I have been training on stadium steps, but I feel unprepared for this number of steps. Does anyone have experience with this?
I hate to sound trite, but...by climbing stairs. It sounds like you are doing the right stuff.
Maybe add some weight lifting for your legs (squats, hamstring curls, lunges).
