I had open gall bladder surgery how long will it take to be fully recover from it?
June 5, 2006 had open gall bladder surgery still have a lot of pain during and after walking. I also have a lot of pain if I try to lift light articles for example a plastic backed chair.
You had your op in June, it shouldn't be causing you so much pain now. When l had open gall bladder surgery it took about 6-8 weeks to be pain free. Maybe you need to go back to the Dr. and make sure that all your healing is good and that you don't have an infection or anything.

hip pain during pregnancy?
im 13 weeks pregnant, and since 4 weeks iv had really bad pain in my hip whenever i sit on something soft (sofa, bed) with my legs raised, i dont have a problem with walkin or sitting on my office chair, the pain is so bad i would have to be lifted out of bed and i wouldnt be able to put pressure on it for a few minutes, and then it goes!!! has anyone ever had this problem, im terrified it will get worse as the months go on.
I actually have the same problem but I have spd and my hips were not aligned even before I got pregnant so it makes it really hard at times, but it goes and comes... like for a couple days it might be really, really bad and then other days it wont bother me at all or very little. I would talk to you doctor about it though, you may have spd which isn't really a big thing but it is where your pelvic area (your hips are effected too) gets too loose and unstable so it hurts pretty bad. Good luck! Heating pads, and warm baths are my friend... lol.
