Care Guide Seniors

Can I still get into good college ???
Here is me , I felt stupid.... I mean im not stupid . I got a 2300 on my sat and 34 on ACT. But i basicly screw up my 10 11 grade. I am failling class because of i didn't care much back then. Now im really scared. My friend got 35 and 2400 on his ACT and SAT got rejected to Washington University in Saint Louis because his GPA was not good enough (3.0) what should i do .. Im really depressed.... I promised my parent to get into good collage. NExt year is my senior year... please guide me !!! please ! Im wish i could start over. Can my sat and act score save me ???
sorry "bewearing" ... 2300 is very high sat scores
The important thing is to try REALLY hard now. You're obviously smart, that shows in your SAT and ACT scores. Hopefully you also have at least some extracirricular activities. I think that even if your grades weren't so great for a while, if you can show colleges that you care NOW and you really work to improve over the course of your senior year you definitely have a shot. My advice is to work really hard to get good grades next year. Do something productive over the summer, something that will look really good on college applications. Begin working now on your personal statements for applications so they are PERFECT by the time you apply. If a college asks for an open-ended statement, I would definitely explain why your grades were low but that you're really motivated now and you are ready to work hard. Make sure you get excellent letters of recommendation. Don't stress out, you will get in somewhere. SAT scores like that won't let you down! Good luck!!
