What do i give/gift giving etiquette to my Italian boyfriend and his family on my second visit? please help?
last time I visited them in the region of lombardy italy i bought
-a local novelty honey/mead wine
-good quality tea from selfridges
-coconut chocolate dipped shortbread from prince charles duchy originals
-a pottery cow for the mothers birthday
-a tub of jellybeans and an auden poetry book for my bfs birthday
they sent me home with soooo much!
-a minituare violin-their town is home to the stadavaria violin
-limoncello
-local pear liquor
-a bag of torrone (local dark chocolate coated nougats)
2 mini boxes of pocket coffee chocolates
2 minis boxes of 'baci' chocolates
a good quality pannettone
cavalli perfume
cavalli body lotion
they even offered me slippers!
plus they kept treating me to meals, wine, coffee, pastries, sweets etc wherever i went!
I'm really embaressed/yet happy at their generosity and he said they love me...
I am a 17 year old girl.
What do I bring them when i stay with them again at the end of january?
Wow ain't the Italians great!! These people sound so sweet and so generous and obviously like you a great deal. This of course says mountains about what a good person you are. As for gift giving think of their home and things they have in it and personalize it American style with items they could not find in their region of Italy. Perhaps Waterford or a Decanter something high end and decorative. Remember you are only 17 so the money thing is a huge issue but showing number one that you thought of their home with the gift in mind will say so much.

What's in my bag plus mini haul
what is in your hand bag right now?
I'm asking partly out of curiosity, partly cause I just got a country road bag and have more bag space than I can deal with. Sooo, what's in your bag?? 
Mine so far:
- notebook + pen
- one sharpie; one highlighter
- beat up cell, ipod and earphones :s
- one rosebud salve
- half a gazillion hair ties and bobby pins
- keys, ID, monies, etc.
- the cutest ever mini transparent umbrella
- a pair of party feet
- band aids (spider man of course)
- solid perfume
- hand sanitiser
- lucas' paw paw ointment
- chewing gum, tic tacs and that type of thing.
(plus textbooks and sweater sometimes)
