Away Vehicle Lift
30 weeks pregnant and was leaking amniotic fluid .. has anyone leaked and gone to full term?
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and last tues. I was in a car accident (my water started leaking) and I was flight lifted to a hospital 2 hrs. away.
(I was actually hit by the same vehicle twice).
The doctor said it showed "ruptured membranes".
They said my water bag was at 5cm and they were keeping me in the hospital until 34 weeks and inducing labor.
They put me on antibiotics (through IV) for 4 days and kept me and baby on monitors (never got an infection or contractions and baby's heartbeat was perfect).
Well, by the grace of God, my water bag got back up to 11cm on Sunday night and they sent me home.
(they monitored and said the bag doesn't appear to be leaking anymore)
I have to check my temp. daily to make sure I'm not getting any infection and I'm getting weekly ultrasounds done until the baby is born.
My question is, HAS ANYONE HAD A LEAK @ 30 WEEKS AND TAKEN THE BABY TO FULL TERM??

We have patients rupture and then make it to term all the time...the risk of preterm delivery is definitely higher with PPROM...but you CAN carry to at least 37 weeks. I think it's great they sent you home...I've never seen that before and I work in a high risk center...is that in the US?

Where can I find Jeep Cherokee lift kits and accessories other than Quadratec?
I really am a fan of the Quadratec Jeep accessory company, dont get me wrong. But I am looking for a source for a lift kit and a bumpers for my 99 cherokee, and the prices really seem steep from Quadratec. I had found a Hi-Lift vehicle jack for $20 cheaper than they quad was asking for it. So they were that much more expensive on a not-so expensive item. I am just trying to save some dough but still get some quality. I had bought a temporary 3" lift off ebay but I opened it up and didnt trust it right away. The front lift is a combination of a 2" and a 1" spacer. Not gonna use it.
