Arms Elevating Can pulling hair out of a mole turn it cancerous?
So I have a small elevated mole on my arm, and like most moles it grows super long dark hairs out of it. My mom always told me not to mess with it like pick at it or pull the hairs out cause that could turn it cancerous.
Is this true?
Best not to pull, it can cause needless infections. I just shave it off.
Cancerous ? I doubt that, but anything is possible if you continuously irritate the glands underneath the hair root, IMO.

Veiny Arms?
Recently the veins in my arms have become very visible when I'm hot or when I let my arms hang at my sides.
They do not show when I'm cold or when I keep my arms elevated. But when they are able to be seen, it looks unattractive. It makes me feel self-conscious; is there any way to prevent my veins from showing through my skin?
Be proud of your arm veins. Many people would die for arm veins.
Hi generally speaking when they say to elevate your arm they are talking higher than your heart level. Putting it up on a couple of pillows should be sufficient. If you broke your arm and that is why they are having you do that it is because there is so much swelling with breaks and if you elevate it, it will help keep the swelling down. So if you are setting in a recliner as long as your arm is higher than your chest. If you are laying down same story arm should be higher than your chest. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
