Where can I get a cheap, waterproof English saddle cover that can be ridden in (for rainy day rides)?
I absolutely hate passing up a ride just because it is raining. I'm not afraid for me or the horse (so long as it's not a thunderstorm) and I have a spare nylon bridle, but I really want a cover for my saddle that is waterproof and can be used when riding (stirrup holes and all). Does anybody know where I could find one? Thanks for the help!
Yeah, I'm in the U.S. and I already tried Ebay- there was 1 that fit my criteria. I'm talking about a cover to go over the saddle that I can ride on top of and all...

help with water-proofing some boots for the yard, please

recently bought from Robinsons a pair of "puddle boots", wore them at the yard, it rained all day.... lots of puddles.
however the woman who sold them to me failed to tell me that the whole boot wasnt waterproof, just the rubber bottom half of the boot. the other top half is nylon.
from that day i discovered that the seams in the top half let the water in, and my feet were wet all day.
can any one lend me some suggestions as to waterproofing these boots, there comfy and durable for the yard, except from this downside, aside the fact they were only £16 pounds.

You can use a product such as Scotchguard or AquaArmor to waterproof the top nylon part. Make sure to allow the boots to dry completely, first. Then following the directions on the waterproofing spray to treat the uppers on the boots.
