co2 port air gun to air compresser possible?
Is it possible to purchase a pellet gun that'll plug into an air compresser?I wonder if the co2 hook up can be plumbed to accept a quick connect air hose?Co2 is heavier which gives it is perfomance boost over a pump gun.Compressed air is virtually identical in density,and weight.I know i will have mobility problems,but my interest is killing cans in the backyard!Doesn't matter.
You, can't get an air gun, that you can plug an air compressor to directly, but the gun, can be modified so that it will work.
While doing the modification, why not rig the gun, to hook directly to a LARGE CO2 cylinder ( 1 of the tanks like is used in welding ).
Bypass the pressure regulator, so you can get the full pressure going to the charging chamber. when you squeeze the trigger, yours will be the hottest firing gun around

diagnosis of middle ear infection without a pneumatic otoscope?
Each time I take my two year old for a check up following cold , she was diagnosed to have otis media- middle ear infection-. Now I got my doughts because she was screaming her lungs out each and every time and may be that causes the redness of ear drum, as I read recently. Any of the doctors didn't use- or perhaps didn't have- a pneumatic otoscope ( an otoscope with a small air pump attached to it)to check the mobility of the ear drum.
I am just tired giving her antibiotic for what sometimes could be a misdiagnosis, especially when she does not show any visible sign of ear infection.
When I read answers in yahoo, I understand that many take their children to pediatricians for check ups, how do you do that? I mean, I am in Australia, and here you cannot go to a pediatrician unless your GP provides you a referral and that would be for something that they are not competent enough to handle, not for something like ottis.
Please guys tell me what I should do?
The ear drum acts as a complete plug between the outside world and the Middle Ear, what I suppose the doctor is doing with the otoscope is to check if there's any fluid build up within the Middle Ear by what you said, testing the mobility of the Ear Drum.
It's in that fluid build up where bacteria can form and that's when the infection starts. It's said that the body gets used to a certain antibiotic if overused and it simply doesn't work.
Anyway, there's really no way you can diagnose a Middle Ear infection without a professional; you can only guess by the pain it's causing and such. I wouldn't take my word for it though, I'm not a professional, just providing you with some insight on what the situation is I guess.
Most infections will normally go away on their own, but with a two year old, it's probably safer just to use the antibiotics as their immune systems are weaker than ours.
Yeah.. I'm from Australia too, getting referrals is a pain in the backside. xD
