If you're talking about the bay that is used for CDROM/floppy/extra battery, then probably not. The only way to find that out is to check with the manufacturer.

Is there an adapter to convert an analog Yellow video signal to a High Def D connector on a monitor?
I want to get my kids a flat panel monitor but most just have the two D plugs for input, how can you connect a Play station 2 or nintendo 64 that just have the single yellow video connector with the two audio inputs?
To properly connect your current Sony PS2 game console to a flat panel LCD monitor you would need to purchase a video converter/scaler that will convert the PS2 Y/C Composite Video output to either a VGA (?) and/or a DVI video signal. See the models listed below.

Rather than purchase an LCD "monitor" you may be better served if you purchase a flat panel LCD TV around the 19-inch size with integrated YC (S-video) inputs; they're fairly common and relatively inexpensive. This would be more cost effective especially when you consider that the cost of an active video converter/scaler suitable for console gaming use is roughly the same price as a decent flat panel LCD TV. You may benefit from the experience of the individual that maintains the "HDTV Lag" Webpage¹ below:
"Based on my results, the LG displays are generally the fastest of the bunch. I ended up settling on an LG 42LC2D and I'm reasonably happy with it thus far. It's still not ideal, but I could have definitely done worse."¹
Be sure when you purchase a flat panel LCD monitor or TV that you select a model with a black-to-white response time specification that does not exceed 16 ms and/or a gray-to-gray response time specification that does not exceed 8 ms typically.
