Access Wheelchair Lifts
Wheelchair access in Las Vegas?
My fiancee and I are going to Las Vegas in two weeks. She is in a wheelchair. Any suggestions on getting to/from the airport (the hotel, as far as we know, does not offer a shuttle with a lift on it), attractions, getting around, etc.?
Las vegas is fairly flat and most off the hotels casino are accesible I think. Dont be afraid to ask staff for help (challanged people are gamblers to, right?) Try to use taxis and monorails. There could be some stairs (check out if there is lifts.). As for the trip from the airport I would recommend a cab. Maybe its best to order a wheelchair cab before. I think its possible by phone or on the web. Have fun

Can anyone recommend an ACCESSIBLE hotel in Spain that is also a mainstream one?
I need something with full wheelchair access and a kids club (kids are 8 1/2 and 12). Want to go away with friends but don't trust thompsons etc to give accurate information! Lifts need to be roomy as my friend has a big wheelchair (mine is smaller).
you dont mention what part of spain you have in mind? If you were to be thinking of tenerife two good hotels come to mind LA PINTA and JACURANDA they are both wheelchair friendly and child friendly. The la pinta is brilliantly located for the beach shops and restaraunts. Enjoy your holiday where ever you choose, its always a good idea to search the net for your particular needs
